first_imgTale Tellers Troupe India is organising ‘Beat Stage Fear: Storytelling’ workshop at Phoenix Arena on July 7. Create your own story and tell it like a boss. The participants will be taught how to create stories on the fly (make it up while you are narrating it), how to deal with stage fear, techniques to narrate the story you created effectively and in an engaging manner and how to effectively communicate in daily conversations. The first half of the workshop you will learn to create your own story and second half of the workshop you will learn to effectively narrate this story using various techniques. Exercises in class focus on classic story structuring, building suspense, eliciting emotion, recreating drama, digging deeper into a story’s meaning, and using your voice and body to add levels to your listeners’ experience, so that your story stays with them. The class size will be limited to allow maximum individual attention and storytelling practice time for each student in each class session expect to challenge yourself, participate actively and have a lot of fun and laughs along the way.
