There were Georgia fans who made similar comments about the Notre Dame crowd when the two teams met in South Bend in 2017.Overall, this home-and-home series worked out well for college football, even if the Fighting Irish can’t be happy they lost both meetings.We got two competitive games out of the series and the environment at each of them was outstanding. Overall, a record 93,000 people packed Sanford Stadium for the Bulldogs’ 23-17 win.It turns out, a major Notre Dame donor was impressed with the home fans.
